Job objective:

A Planning Section Head is a managerial position responsible for overseeing the planning and coordination activities within a department or organization

Reporting line: Planning Director

Location: 10th of Ramadan city, Egypt

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans and objectives in alignment with the organization’s goals. Collaborate with senior management to define the overall direction and long-term vision of the department or organization.

2. Operational Planning: Lead the development of operational plans, including setting targets, defining key performance indicators (KPIs), and establishing action plans to achieve departmental or organizational objectives.

3. Resource Planning: Coordinate and manage the allocation of resources, including manpower, budget, equipment, and materials, to ensure efficient and effective utilization in line with the planned activities and objectives.

4. Forecasting and Budgeting: Conduct financial forecasting and budgeting activities for the department or organization. Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and provide recommendations for budget adjustments or resource reallocation as needed.

5. Performance Monitoring: Establish performance monitoring systems and tools to track the progress of planned activities, projects, and initiatives. Analyze performance data, identify trends, and report on key findings to senior management.

6. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges that may impact the successful implementation of planned activities. Develop risk mitigation strategies, contingency plans, and escalation protocols to address and minimize risks.

9. Team Management: Lead and manage a team of planning professionals. Provide guidance, coaching, and support to team members. Set goals, monitor performance, conduct performance evaluations, and identify training and development needs.
10. Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and present reports, presentations, and documentation related to planning activities. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of progress, achievements, challenges, and recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications:

1. Education: A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as business administration, operations management, logistics, supply chain management, or a related discipline is often required. Master’s degree or an MBA is an add.

2. Language: Arabic, English fair written and spoken

3. Work Experience: Carton experience or similar industry would be great, experience in planning, operations, logistics, supply chain management, production planning, inventory management, or similar positions.

4. Technical Skills: Proficiency in using planning and forecasting software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and other relevant tools is important, strong analytical skills, data interpretation abilities, and knowledge of statistical methods can be valuable for effective planning and decision-making.

5. Communication and Interpersonal Skills excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, present plans and reports to stakeholders, and coordinate with different departments.

6. Strategic Thinking: The ability to think strategically and align planning efforts with organizational goals is important.

7. Organizational and Time Management Skills: Responsible for overseeing multiple projects and ensuring deadlines are met. Is responsible for promoting and selling carton and company products to customers. The primary objective is to generate revenue by identifying leads, building relationships with potential clients, and closing sales deals.

Reporting line: Sales Director

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Presentations: Conduct sales presentations and demonstrations to showcase products or services to potential customers.

2. Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understand their needs, and provide appropriate solutions. Establish rapport, address customer concerns, and provide exceptional customer service to foster long-term relationships.

3. Sales Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate sales terms, pricing, and contractual agreements with customers. Overcome objections and effectively close sales by demonstrating the value and benefits of the product or service.

4. Sales Targets and Reporting: Achieve sales targets and objectives within the assigned territory or market segment. Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records, activity reports, and sales forecasts.

5. Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors’ activities. Gather market intelligence and customer feedback to provide insights for product development, pricing strategies, and sales tactics.

6. Collaboration with Internal Teams: Collaborate with internal department. Provide feedback and insights from customer interactions to contribute to product enhancements and customer satisfaction.

7. Continuous Learning and Skill Development: Stay updated on product knowledge, sales techniques, and industry trends.

Qualifications:

Responsible for overseeing and managing the treasury function within universal unipack. Primary role is to ensure effective cash management, liquidity, risk management, and financial stability.

Reporting line: CFO

Location: 10th of Ramadan city, Egypt

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cash Management: Develop and implement cash management strategies to optimize cash flow, ensure sufficient liquidity, and minimize idle cash. Monitor cash balances, forecast cash flow, and make recommendations for cash positioning and investments.

2. Risk Management: Identify and assess financial risks, such as foreign exchange risk, interest rate risk, credit risk, and market risk. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategie.

3. Banking Relationships: Manage relationships with banks and other financial institutions. Negotiate banking services, fees, and terms. Evaluate and select banking partners based on the organization’s needs. Monitor banking activities and ensure compliance with banking agreements.

4. Funding and Capital Structure: Assess the organization’s funding requirements and evaluate financing options. Develop and implement strategies to optimize the capital structure and manage debt, equity, and other financing instruments.

5. Treasury Operations: Oversee day-to-day treasury operations, including cash transactions, bank account management, cash pooling, intercompany funding, and payment processes. Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and regulatory requirements.

6. Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling to support treasury decisions. Evaluate investment opportunities, assess the financial impact of treasury initiatives, and provide recommendations to senior management.
